This is a playground to test code. It runs a full Node.js environment and already has all of npm’s 1,000,000+ packages pre-installed, including vies with all npm packages installed. Try it out:

vies v0.0.5

The VIES Node module checks VAT numbers against the European VIES validator. It is a thin and transparant wrapper around the SOAP service that is exposed through ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs.
