This is a playground to test code. It runs a full Node.js environment and already has all of npm’s 1,000,000+ packages pre-installed, including try-open with all npm packages installed. Try it out:

all documents on RunKit are public

use arrow functions, classes, template strings, and most of ES6
await any promise instead of using callbacks (example)

try-open v0.1.3

Tries to open a file using fs.openSync (only necessary with sync), fails gracefully if the file path does not exist on the file system. Since fs.existsSync has been deprecated, this can be used as an alternative.
