Try any Node.js package right in your browser

This is a playground to test code. It runs a full Node.js environment and already has all of npm’s 1,000,000+ packages pre-installed, including cordova-plugin-background-app with all npm packages installed. Try it out:

cordova-plugin-background-app lists no main file and has no index.js, so it can't be directly required. If this is a mistake, please let us know. It may however contain internal files that you can require manually:

// require("cordova-plugin-background-app/[??]")

all documents on RunKit are public
require() any package directly from npm
use arrow functions, classes, template strings, and most of ES6
await any promise instead of using callbacks (example)
create your own embedded node.js snippets

cordova-plugin-background-app v2.0.2

The purpose of this plugin is to enable notifications, alarms, etc to re-start your app and fire callbacks without the app causing any visual cues to the user. In essense, it allows starting an app as an Android service, but does so without the use of an actual service.
